At some schools, Early Decision also correlates with a higher acceptance rate, though the statistics can often be misleading.
Ultimately, if you are sure you want to go to Haverford College and feel confident your application will be ready before the earlier deadline, Early Decision could be a worthwhile strategy. Otherwise, Regular Decision is the way to go.
Haverford SAT
Are there any Haverford SAT requirements? Haverford admissions has made their application test-optional. You can send your SAT or ACT scores via the testing agency or choose to self-report. However, there are no official Haverford SAT requirements. You can choose not to submit a standardized test score without hurting your chances at Haverford enrollment, so long as the rest of your academic profile is sufficiently strong.
Amongst those who submit a test score to Haverford, the average SAT score is between 1430 and 1540. The ACT is equally competitive, with scores averaging between 33 and 35. In the class of 2027, about 50% of Haverford students chose to submit scores.
